Beef with Vegetables

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp of your favorite Lahtt Sauce
  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • ¼ cup of tamari soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp of cooking wine
  • ½ cup of chicken broth
  • 1 lb of your choice of beef
  • 1 tablespoon of oil (vegetable oil, peanut oil, or olive oil work fine)
  • ½ medium onion
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • 5 ½ cups of your favorite vegetables (we like bok choy, carrots, water chestnuts, (Chinese) broccoli, and green beans)
  • Salt & pepper

Instructions

Prep:

  1. Chop 5 cups of mixed raw vegetables of your choice.
  2. Slice beef into thin strips.

Stir-fry:

  1. Combine your favorite Lahtt Sauce, wine, sugar, corn starch, soy sauce in a separate cup and mix. Set aside.
  2. Oil a large skillet or wok generously & place on the stove over medium high heat. Add raw onions and garlic to the pan, and stir fry until golden brown.
  3. Add desired raw vegetables, stir fry for about 7 minutes or until cooked through to achieve desired crunch. Set aside in a bowl.
  4. Lightly salt and pepper the beef and add to skillet. Stir until the beef is brown on both sides.
  5. Drain any extra liquid from the bottom if necessary.
  6. Add vegetables back into the skillet with the sauce, stirring frequently. Dish is done and ready when sauce is absorbed into the ingredients.
  7. Eat & enjoy!
